I also wanted to express my condolences about Uncle Dale. I wish we’d had the opportunity to know him better. We’ll be thinking of all of you and wishing you comfort as you go through this time.
thanks for your words of comfort, My dad was a wonderful man and father. Mom is doing better. She said she lost her husband (of 56 years) and her best friend. She got a call today from an old school friend of dads that they had kept in touch with all these years. He is going to donate $ 1,000 in memory of dad to the Salem School District where he and dad attended high school together. He said they would put a plaque up at the school for dad. Mom thought this was a great honor. It is a sad time but it is also nice knowing there were so many people that came to the visitation and funeral that really cared about our family. I better stop before I cry. Talk to you again soon.
Love,Margie
Hi Everyone: Well, here it is, Wednesday, the 18th, at 7:35pm, and I furfling have not received a single phone call from American Idol. I’m sure that you all are as perplexed as I am at this strange oversight. Maybe it has to do with the injunction suit filed against me by my neighbors. The twelve beers I had may have influenced my vocal presentation, or maybe singing to the squirrels in the trees at midnight was a problem for them. Anyway, at least I have all of you to write to me and tell me how wonderful you think I am. Gee, I feel better already. I think I will run over to my neighbors house and see if I can borrow some money. Dad/Uncle Pete
Love you all
well uncle pete. i would like to take the opportunity to thank you for giving me yet more reasons not to drink, hahaha. and good luck on next years idol, haha
Hi everyone, Mom has a photo of Uncle Pete when he graduated from college. We all got a kick out if it.If I can get a copy I thought you might like to see your what your Dad looked like way back then. However, Uncle Pete might not be so enthusiastic about the idea. But I think we can over rule him here, don’t you think?Have a great day!
Hello to all great admires of the GREAT Uncle Pete’s vocal talents. My name is Claudia and I am the devoted and obeying wife of Andy. (See Uncle Pete, we all have our little bubbles, and I am not going to burst yours about your American Idol talent. Let’s just say I am sure it was not the alcohol.) Our family lives in NH and we had another day off from school. They were outside for seven hours, but as I was clearing the snow all I could think of was you Uncle Pete, more specific your golf game. How did it go today? Was it maybe a little chilly and a bit white? If that was the case, try to color your golf ball bright orange, that’s how they play in Alaska. Let me know how your game went. You did say at one point you needed a challenge, right?
Claudia Sweetie! No wonder that I love you so much. Shoveling snow and thinking about me and my golf game? What a sweetheart you are. But, orange balls? I’m sure the guys would wonder about me if I showed up with my little orange balls. But, hey, it would give everyone on the golf course a chance to hear me sing “Great Balls of Fire”. One thing is for sure, me and all my golfing buddies wanna get Andy’s autograph. An “obeying” wife. Most of us would settle for an occasional “yes” from our wives. I believe we could patten Andy’s technique. Anyway, you are a super sweet and beautiful young lady. Now the only thing for the rest of us to do is to figure out a way to teach you some vices. 🙂 Love you. Uncle Pete
